In 2000 the Gooding Pro Rodeo wanted to recognize the many Idaho rodeo cowboys and women who have made their mark in the world of rodeo and began awarding 6 to 8 people each year during their annual rodeo.
Some of the past indutees include Bob A. Robinson, Daryll Hobdey, and Deb Copenhaven, to name a few. Out of this annual induction an inpromtu cowboy reuinon took place the first couple years until two men, Bob Craig and Al Gorrell(and their wives) made it an organized event.
Each year cowboys who called Idaho home while they were involved in rodeo during the 50's and 60's enjoy the weeks fesivities including a free pass to the rodeo, prime rib lunch and major bull session. The last couple years this reunion has included more than 200 of these old hands.
