Each night when the rodeo is over the fun doesn’t stop. Grab you sweetheart and head on over to Chute 7 and dance the night away with Idaho’s Grant Webb Band on Thursday and The Rocky Mountain CMA’s “Entertainer of the Year” Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band on Friday and Saturday.
Wyoming native Chancey Williams and his “Younger Brothers Band,” have relentlessly toured the Western United States, developing a rabid fan base not seen from the Cowboy State since Chris LeDoux. In fact, Chancey Williams and LeDoux are the only two people to ride in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo (one of the most famous in the world, the touted “Daddy of ‘Em All) and play its main stage as a major entertainer. The band has shared the stage with dozens of artists, including Lady Antebellum, Old Dominion, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Gary Allan and Travis Tritt. They’ve also enjoyed many bills with Texas contemporaries Casey Donahew, Aaron Watson and Stoney LaRue. But, Williams says, nothing beats the opportunity to have occasionally been direct support for their heroes, legends like LeDoux, Alabama, Merle Haggard and Dwight Yoakam.
The Grant Webb Band or “GWB” is an Idaho based band that plays shows throughout the Northwest. It was formed a few years back by front man “Grant Webb” and members. They are a great mixture of “Country” along with the popular growing
“Red Dirt” music scene. When you see them perform live they have a strong “Southern Rock” and “Blues” influence along with some of the great fundamental “Country Twang” that started it all. They currently are a three piece band but will completely blow your mind with a great stage performance and the quick wit to play live that changes with every crowd. You can catch them playing various concert houses, dance floors, private parties and weddings. At just about every show you can catch the front man on some table or bar melting faces with some great guitar or harmonica leads. Their main drive is to play great written music, put on one of the best live shows around and keep building a great fan base of all ages. They strive to treat fans like friends and make everyone feel special at every show. If you haven’t been to one of their concerts yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!!!
